The first Customers into T5 arrived at Gate 11 at 5 a.m. as flight 358, the shut-eye, arrived early from Burbank.
A big crowd of Crewmembers and cameras greeted them with cheers and applause, plus high-fives from VP of JFK Operations Alex Battaglia. Check out our Flickr gallery for more photos!
Leave it to our L.A. customers to make a grand entrance!

Great capture of that excited Customer. I think at least one or two people on every flight should deplane that way.

The energy of the Crewmembers and Customers is so incredibly evident by these photos. You feel like you there in the middle of it all…. thanks for documenting what I am sure was a memorable moment for all!

Wow – you can really tell the difference between the “I’m just glad to be off the red eye” smile and a “Hey – did I just land at Awesome Airport?”
Loves the group shot of Crewmembers!

I was on the flight- the crew was awesome and while clapping at 5AM is a bit tough, it was really cool. Way to go Jet Blue!! Jetting rocks
